I am a current 2nd year medical student at Saint George University of Beirut. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Lebanese American University in 2023 with a 3.97 cGPA, with high distinction, graduated from the University Honors Program for high achieving students, and won the Torch Award for demonstrating great leadership and service spirit in the School of Arts and Sciences.
I took part in numerous extracurricular activities, the most important of which being the President of The Premed Club for 2022-2023, winning the Best Club Award and Most Active Club Award.
I also served as a trainer in GC LAU Model United Nations, delivering sessions to high school students promoting leadership and diplomatic skills. Furthermore, I delivered workshops within my areas of expertise and throughout the use of soft and technical skills (such as Adobe Illustrator) in coordination with the LEE Program launched by the Outreach and Civic Engagement (OCE) Department at LAU.
I took the MCAT on September 9th of 2022, scoring in the 96th percentile for C/P and 90th percentile for B/B.
I then started my tutoring journey in Spring 2023, and I have worked with multiple students of different backgrounds since then. I worked with test retakers, nontraditional students, students with no background at all in any of the subjects I teach, and students with learning disabilities. I tutored organic chemistry and biochemistry privately, as well as the chemistry/physics and biology/biochemistry sections of the MCAT. I quickly discovered that I have a knack for breaking down complex concepts into easily understandable pieces, which not only helped my peers but also ignited a passion for teaching. As I advanced in my studies, I realized the immense value of a structured, supportive, and engaging learning environment—something I strive to provide to all my students.
